Christian Education

Starting in 2006, a vital component of each OSA mission trip to Peru has been a week long emphasis on Christian education for children ages 6 and older.  Bible stories, crafts, games, drama, and singing are the main components of the “Bible School”.  These activities are planned and directed by clergy and lay mission team participants from the USA with vital assistance from local Spanish speaking individuals.  The children of Collique have been spellbound by the simple yet captivating Bible story presentations by Giugliana (Julie) Mendoza, a resident of Lima with expertise in teaching drama to young children.  The OSA House and Sports Complex are well suited for the classes and recreation activities associated with Bible School.
