How the “Blessings from God” Soup Kitchen Assists the Rodriguez Family

Soup kitchens provide nutritious meals to thousands of vulnerable families in the poorest areas of Collique, Peru. Among the most-needy people are those who suffer from physical impairments that do now allow them to find a job with living wages to support their families. This is the case of the Rodriguez family, where both parents, Jose Luis and Paty, endure severe eye issues. By God’s grace, the Rodriguez family is connected to a local soup kitchen called “Blessings from God,” supported by Operacion San Andres, who helps relieve their financial struggles, providing free daily meals for the parents and their children.
Dr. Luis Campos Nominated for Prestigious Award by Edinburgh University

We are delighted to announce that our founder, Dr. Luis Campos, has been nominated and selected as a finalist for the 2021 "Being Edinburgh" award. This year there were 85 nominations for the award and the award panel selected four finalists, including Dr. Campos.
A Christmas Miracle

I want to share with you our own Christmas miracle at Operación San Andres this year. Just to be clear: it’s not on the scale of the original miracle we celebrate each Christmas, but I’m sure the same generous God we worship is behind them both. In Bethlehem, God sent His Son to save sinners; this year in Collique God sent us 1,200 panettones to cheer the weary and the downcast. Let me explain.
